Terms of Service

These terms govern BackUp at getbackupnow.com and in the app. By using the service, you agree to them. Contact support@getbackupnow.com with questions.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and authorize connections only for accounts you are entitled to use. Tell us about suspected unauthorized access. Your account starts with its own workspace; signup does not claim another person's data.

The service and beta

BackUp provides bill planning, financial organization, checking insights and goal guidance. Automatic internal transfers remain disabled in the current public beta. Where enabled for a supported connected account, you can separately review and confirm a bill payment before BackUp submits it to the bank. Website demonstrations of automatic transfers describe the intended experience, not an active payment instruction or a guarantee of integration availability.

BackUp is not a bank and does not hold your money. Financial accounts and payment services are provided independently under their providers' agreements. Future money-movement features require separate setup and authorization; accepting these terms alone does not authorize a transfer.

Forecasts and AI

Calculations depend on saved information and available provider records. A projected balance or allocation is an estimate, not a guarantee of available funds or confirmation that a bill is paid. Delays, provider fees, missing records and changed income or bills can affect results.

AI summaries and recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect. Review them and confirm dates, amounts, balances and payment arrangements. BackUp does not provide licensed investment, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for financial decisions, payments and existing autopay arrangements.

Connections and privacy

Connections depend on your authorization and third-party availability. Google sign-in does not grant inbox access. You may disconnect supported providers or revoke access with them. Our Privacy Policy explains data processing, AI providers and deletion requests.

Fees

The current beta does not charge a BackUp subscription fee. Future BackUp pricing will be disclosed before a charge. Independent providers may charge account, subscription, transfer or other fees under their own terms; these are not included in projections unless explicitly stated.

Responsible use and ownership

Do not use BackUp for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized access, interference or bypassing security. Do not upload information you have no right to share.

You retain rights to information you provide. You permit BackUp and its providers to process it as needed to deliver requested features, operate the service and fulfill the Privacy Policy. This does not authorize sale of personal data. Software, branding and website materials belong to their respective owners.

Availability and ending use

Beta features may change, be unavailable or be discontinued. We may restrict access for abuse, security issues, legal requirements or violations of these terms, giving notice where practical. You can stop using BackUp and request deletion at support@getbackupnow.com. Deleting BackUp does not close a bank account, cancel bills or revoke payment arrangements with other providers.

Limitations

To the extent applicable law permits, BackUp is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted service, error-free output or a particular financial result. We are not responsible for independent provider outages or reliance on inaccurate forecasts to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We will update the effective date and give notice of material changes as appropriate. Changes requiring separate consent or payment authorization will not be authorized solely by continued use of the website. Contact support@getbackupnow.com with questions.
